Create a Vision Board
Friday 1/23
2 – 4 PM 

What do you want for the year ahead? Robin of neonrobin has been creating vision boards for years and she will share her process with you in this fun class. The class will start with five prompts to help you clarify your vision before building a collage of inspiration. Robin will discuss the basics of designing with text and color before you start cutting and pasting inspiring visuals and phrases from magazines and other provided materials.

Sketching Perspective
Saturday 1/24
1 – 3 PM 

This class will take you through an introduction exercise and then explore two drawings that utilize different types of perspective. Together we will focus on creating depth and adding shadows with the goal of creating confidence and enjoying the process. This class is great for beginners and aspiring artists who wish to build on their drawing practice.

Floral Card Illustration
Friday 2/6
2 – 4 PM 

Explore the art of floral illustration and create a trio of sweet note cards. Robin will share her illustrative techniques as you use watercolor pencils and archival ink pens to add layers of color and interest to pre-printed designs. All supplies are provided, and you will leave with three illustrated cards on watercolor paper to be sent to your loved ones or framed. This class is great for beginners.

Grow Your Sketching Practice
Saturday 2/28
2 – 4 PM 

Let's spend the afternoon sketching. This workshop will take you through three drawing exercises to begin filling the blank pages of your personal sketchbook. Together we will focus on creating confidence and enjoying the process. This class is great for aspiring artists who wish to build the habit of drawing for fun. Everyone will take home Robin’s favorite erasable pen to continue their practice at home. Please bring your own sketchbook.

Wildflowers Illustration
Take inspiration from delightful floral designs to create a colorful field of wildflowers. This illustration class is perfect for beginners who are interested in expanding their drawing abilities and experimenting with color. We will practice sketching a variety of flowers and foliage before working on a finished piece. Participants will take home a completed illustration on premium paper.

Simplifying Your Sketches
Spend the afternoon creating simple line sketches. This workshop will take you through exercises meant to help you simplify and clarify the focus of your drawings. Together we will discuss composition and positioning of items. This class is great for beginners and aspiring artists who wish to build confidence. Everyone will take home Robin’s favorite erasable pen to continue their practice at home. Please bring your own sketchbook.  

Colorful Portrait Illustration

Learn a unique approach to capturing facial features with acrylic paint on plexiglass. Together we will focus on choosing colors and mixing tones for a graphic look following exercises which explore drawing the elements of a face. This class is great for anyone interested in exploring color and portrait design. All supplies are provided.

Birds on a Branch Illustration
Create this fun Birds on a Branch illustration. Use ink and watercolor pencils to draw and color your piece. Robin will also focus on creating a balanced composition and techniques to add depth in your design. All supplies are provided, and you will leave with your final piece on premium watercolor paper.

Sketching Nature
Walk through multiple exercises to encourage you to build an ongoing sketching habit. Together, we will do field study sketches of found objects using various drawing tools. The primary goal of this class is to embrace making mistakes and starting over while sketching. Please bring your own sketchbook. 

Sketching Flowers
Fill the pages of your personal sketchbook with different drawing variations of the classic tulip. Following an initial stippling and cross-hatching exercise, students will explore the impact of adding shading and dimensions to their sketches. This class is great for beginners and everyone will take home Robin’s favorite erasable pen to continue their practice at home.
