i like to call this my "first watercolor."
the professor gave me such a hard time for barely using any pigment on the background.. i was so afraid to mess up the foggy buildings but i trusted my process and it all worked out.
i wandered the streets of amsterdam with my friend emily nearly 20 years ago and she was the first person to buy one of my framed prints. a very special connection indeed.
artwork = 18"x13" (+ matte)
framed = 28"x24"
details... this is a framed giclée reproduction of my original watercolor painting. this moody bridge scene is reproduced with archival ink on high-quality paper and matted to float in a wood frame ---> my hope is for it to appear as close to the original as humanly possible.
